We are a small group of dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of Ugandans. We currently provide educational sponsorship for children and teens in Central Uganda, with the help of people like you. We believe sharing God's love and bridging the gap of unaffordable education are paramount in creating Hope for the next generation.  We are in the process of brainstorming and planning for an Inner City Vocational Training Center.  Our dream is that high school graduates could come to our training center in the 1 year gap between graduation and University, and learn a valuable skill, as well as earn a scholarship for college or to begin their own small business! This vocational training center would teach such things as sewing, shoemaking, jewelry crafting, carpentry etc...  If you would like to get involved in the start up of this Inner City Vocational Training Center please contact us: africabridgesofhope@gmail.com    Africa Bridges of Hope began in Uganda in 2006. We currently support children and families in Uganda. Our office in Uganda is located in Kampala (the capital city of Uganda), and we also have a team in Midland, Texas. Africa Bridges of Hope is a fully self supported Non-Profit organization USA 501(C)3, meaning we do not operate from grants or government funds of any kind. We are able to operate on a low budget by the generosity of donors who provide educational sponsorship and/or gifts/donations.
